One of my two autox's a year....

i bought my 98 impreza a while back, and im now getting around to making it look alright... it was hit in the rear (and not the.."hey take a deep breath lets experiment" kinda hit in the rear) and i want to get it fixed... now... i work at a body shop/ mechanical shop, but i dont trust the body shop... and i was quoted at a local place around $200 , but i havent heard any reviews for them... so can i get some suggestions? i really do NOT want to have to go back or deal with crappy workmanship

p.s. ... i do not want the repaired area painted by the body shop..just fix the metal work and give it back...

details, the side of the tail light is sticking out from the body, and the back is pushed in... my boss tried doing a quick fix and just pulled the bar going across the back, that the trunk latch is on, and he pulled that section to far, and the side of the light still sticks out, and the back still sticks in... anyways...i need a good garage, i really dont want to spend more that $300 max to get this fixed

I've been out of the loop for a while....

Does anyone know of modification friendly (e.g. exhaust, etc.) inspection station nears or around Townsend/Lunenburg MA? I'm in need of an inspection sticker as my STi has been stored away for almost 2yrs.

Swapping out the exhaust for the OEM setup is not an option.

Feel free to PM thus to not publicize the names of the stations, if any exist.

Well it's been a long time, I've been wicked MIA :lol:

It's been almost 4 years since I was actively involved in the subaru community so I'm sure there are plenty of new faces I don't know and even some from the past I won't recognize. Unfortunately socal hasn't been treating me well for the last couple years and I'm FLAT BROKE :sadbanana: literally, no money, bills stacking up, and credit cards maxed from trying to survive. The good news is I'm coming back to MA and once I'm back on my feet I'll get myself back out to NESIC meets :banana:

I've missed my NESIC friends, my GM6, and all the shenanigans!

I'm in the middle of moving from New Haven (ugh) to Boston (yay!). This means I've been spending a lot of time on the Masspike between I-84 and Boston. I've been shocked by how bad the traffic is. It seems like about half the time I make the drive I get stuck in some sort of really slow backup. I would expect traffic in Boston to be bad, but the backups are usually out in the middle of nowhere! And they happen at random times (Sunday at 9:00 pm, Friday at 11:00 am, Saturday at 10:00 am, etc, etc, etc)

What's up with this? Should I give up on the Masspike and just take I-95 through Rhode Island? Am I just really unlucky?

It was so bad one day that I wrote to MassDOT asking for a refund of the tolls I had paid. Shockingly, they have yet to reply.

someone stole both my rear red rallyarmour ur mudflaps off my Subaru impress 2.5i in leominster ma so be on the look out they took all the hardware but left the plastic clips I would appreatiate any and all help and what really sucks is the flaps were a birthday gift thanks. Chris.

I'm currently stranded in Middlebury VT and in desperate need an ignition coil pack for my 05 WRX. I can't find a dealership in VT or NH that has one in stock; the nearest one being in Acton, MA and they close at 3, so that's a no go. I need to be back in Boston by Monday.
