Auto-x training and practice track weekend at SLMP

On June 27th and 28th, the New England Subaru Club, Inc is holding an Auto-x training and practice weekend at St. Lawrence Motorsports Park in Morristown, NY. SLMP is an oversized go-kart track with enough room for cars to run. Over the two days you will get dozens of driving sessions to refine existing skills and develop new ones. Fellow drivers (and cones) will be available to help set special courses and drills to assist in the improvement of your driving skills.

  • The cost for the entire both Saturday and Sunday is $150, which includes unlimited driving time each day. Payment for the weekend is due up front IN FULL to secure a spot and is considered NON-refundable unless the event gets canceled for any reason.
  • We will be limiting the group to 25 drivers so sign up fast.
  • The event is contingent on getting at least 15 drivers.

Safety/Tech Restrictions:

  • All cars will be subject to a tech inspection.
  • Remove all extra 'stuff' from your car that is not bolted in.
  • Must have working seat belts.
  • Drivers and passengers must wear helmets.
  • Tires must be DOT approved, with a treadwear over 80 for cars over 2500lbs.
  • Brakes should be bled prior to event and should have at least 3/4 pad left.

Rooms will be booked at the Quality Inn, which is 5 miles from the track. The address is 6765 State Hwy. 37 , Ogdensburg, NY. Please state whether you want in on sharing rooms.
